The California Country Music Association, Orange Blossom Special Region, sister group of Country Music Association, has voted KC the Dance Instructor of the Year fourteen times since 1997. In 2001, KC was honored with a special Country Music Award presented by the California Country Music Association, in recognition for KC's "Dedication and Devotion to the California Country Music Association". She was also inducted into the "Hall of Fame" in 1999!
In February 2008, KC was flown to France to be the guest instructor at the Western Dance & Country Music Festival in Mirande, France, where she taught a host of French line dance instructors how to teach ‘Country Line Dancing - the KC way’. Her unique blend of wit and humor, incorporated within her friendly, laid-back teaching style, has KC much in demand as an entertaining line dance instructor!
